June 5, 2024 - ZERO mile marker

 568 WINDY kilometers today.  We arrived at mile marker zero in Dawson Creek, British Columbia which means we are officially on the Alaska Highway (aka Alcan)!  The wildlife did not disappoint, as we saw deer, a wild horse and the highlight was BOBO-a big black bear, just minding his own business eating along the highway.  We actually saw 4 bear, but the pic below was the only one who wanted to smile for the camera!
